Volleyball team places first

Saturday morning the volleyball team traveled to Fort Calhoun ready to recover from their loss with DC West last Thursday. The first game of the day was against the Winnebago Indians.

The Raiders took the first and second set.

Ace serves of the match were delivered by Taylor Ruwe, Kaylin Niewohner, Emily Lewin and Shaylin Daughtery. The last game of the day was for first place.

The Raiders faced the Fort Calhoun Pioneers. The first set was taken by the Lady Raiders 25-20. The final point was scored by an ace serve from Emily Lewin.

The Pioneers hit a hard shot to the right side of the court winning the second set 28-26. The third set was a hard fought match.

A serving error from the Pioneers turned the score 25-21. The team rushed the court for handshakes and raise the first place plaque.
